About Our Office

Paula Graduated from Memorial University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She worked in her family business while attending school and up until she went to work in June 1994 as an Employment Counsellor under the TAGS program. In November 1996 a new Employment Services Office was opened in Chapel Arm where Paula then became employed, again as an Employment Counsellor. Paula has completed many professional courses since becoming employed and is always upgrading her skills. She became a certified Employment Counsellor with HRDC in 1998 after completing ACEC (Assessment Component of Employment Counselling).
Paula lives in Bellevue Beach with her husband Paul and her son Ryan. She is a volunteer with the Local Service District and is well known in the area. Paula enjoys helping the local residents break down their barriers to employment and is there to help any way she can.

Sharon has been employed by Employment Services since September 2000. She has 10 years of previous experience in her field. Sharon is a graduate from the College of the North Atlantic and has completed, with honours, a Microcomputer Specialist program and an Information Technology program. Sharon resides in Chapel Arm with her husband Mike, daughter Nicole and son Daniel. Her oldest son Cory presently resides in St. John's where he is enrolled in his second year of a three-year Technology Engineering program at College of the North Atlantic.
